NEXT QUESTION

Tandem Project Velin Petkov / Ivaylo Stoyanov
The title intends to provoke the viewer to constantly ask questions: "Where am I?" "What is it?" "Is it real or unreal?" The authors' goal is to photograph objects that are disappearing from urban environments, which they document and digitally process. This in turn gives them a new life and meaning in the modern world.

CORNER SPACES

The Corner Spaces are two dimensional, but in depth they seem to be three dimensional.

Their essence however is the crossing of realities, which involves time. The time of the artist himself is developed as a positive in the field of contemporary photography. The concept of its corners exists as a metaphor of the place, which every person takes in society and this place is the crossing point of the self and its present. Experience enriched by images, which once created thickens and begins existence in their own crossing realities.

The Corners of Ivaylo Stoyanov, aren’t of dark and stagnant energy, but colorful and the contrast of the complementary colors can twist you and make you infused in the wavelengths, which will make you sensible for visible and invisible worlds.

THE WORLD AT 90 DEGREES

For Ivaylo Stoyanov the surrounding world is the subject of his work. Expressive colours, strong contrast, electrical tones and heavy shadows makes it a surreal landscape. The photographer do not examine the nature, but converts it, rotating it in 90 degrees. Thus, a seemingly simple architecture, natural landscape or interior lives another life.

COLOUR LANDSCAPES

Ivaylo Stoyanov compositions of pictures and luminous colors are used to create new worlds that differ from classic architecture and landscape photography. He creates a symbiosis of humanity, nature and architecture whereby colour serves as a transmitter of feelings.

PORTRAITS

The composition of the picture and the powerfully luminous colours create a new world that differs from classical portrait. The people in their colourfull clothes blend in with nature, creating a play between motif and colours.
